About Studio Dance4U

Studio Dance4u strives to make an impact on their students each day, teaching them how to improve their craft and believing that growth and continual learning are the key to success. The instructors at Studio Dance4u strive to pass on their passion to people of all ages! From kids to adults, we specialize in teaching a variety of classes and skills. When working with adults, StudioDance4U offers a variety of dance instruction — anywhere from how to move in the club to looking elegant while dancing at a wedding or social event. We teach a variety of dance styles —cardio burning to ballroom — and offer individual as well as couples’ instruction. For children, our classes are specially designed to improve coordination, posture, flexibility, and metal agility, as well as enhance manners and the ability to work as a team. At Studio Dance4U, we seek to provide a foundation that will benefit your child for the rest of their life, all while they’re having fun learning how to dance.

Alla Kocherga is more than your typical ballroom dance teacher. She’s an international star. Originally from the Ukraine, Ms. Kocherga moved to Los Angeles at the age of 5, where she began to pursue her first love, dance. With ballet as her foundation, she later developed a love for ballroom, a passion that has continued unabated to this day. Winner of multiple awards including a California State Championship, a U.S.A. FInalist in the World IDSF Open Competition, and even the first segment of Ballroom Battle on ABC’s popular Dancing with the Stars, she combines a serious work ethic and with a love for teaching. The consummate professional, Ms. Kocherga is the teacher and mentor students will find once in a lifetime-the guide needed to finally living an art and a dream.

Vadim Lyubushkin began his dance career aa very young age in Siberia, training with the best coaches and traveling the world participating in the most prestigious Dancesport Competitions. Vadim has earned many national titles as well as becoming a finalist in The European Dance Championships. In 2007 Vadim graduated The Siberian Academy of Physical Culture with the highest degree of Professional Dancesport Training, allowing him to teach people of all ages and levels. Vadim is known to be one of the most sought out coaches for competitive ballroom dancers in the Los Angeles area. He has trained many students who later went on to become national champions.

MAGDALENA FIALEK was born in Poland and moved to Canada at the age of 4. She started dancing in a Polish folk dance company and eventually began competing in ballroom dancing at 7 years old. Soon after falling in love with ballroom, she became Canadian Champion in the Junior level and went on to place at numerous competitions in her Junior and Youth career. At 18 Magdalena moved to the United States to further pursue her dancing. She is 2x National USA Latin Champion, Blackpool Under 21 and Amateur semi-finalist, and Rising Latin finalist and has represented the USA at the World Latin Championships 3 years in a row. She is also a principal dancer in stage shows Dancing with a Twist, Dancing to the Movies, Dancing with the Stars at Sea, and has toured with DWTS’s Maks and Val Chmerkovskiy on their first stage show; Our Way. Most recently she made the top 8 on Fox’s hit TV show So You Think You Can Dance.

NICK GARCIA was top 20 on Fox TV’s So You Think You Can Dance Season 11. He has been seen on popular television shows such as NBC's America’s Got Talent and NBC's new show World of Dance. He's also been seen on Disney Channel and Univision Network programs including Sabado Gigante and The Christina Show. He was a part of the new Palazzo Hotel production Baz: Star Crossed Love in Las Vegas, NV. He was featured on Derek and Julianne Hough's Move Beyond Tour. He has recently performed with Jennifer Hudson and with Il Divo in their Residency show in Las Vegas. Nick continues to train in many styles of dance that include Contemporary, Latin ballroom, salsa, jazz, ballet and hip hop. He currently lives in Los Angeles, working and teaching in all styles.

Jada Malone is a Professional Dancer, Choreographer, and Creative Director in Los Angeles. Jada started dancing and performing at a young age in a non profit dance group that sparked her love of dance. She went on to attended Delta Academy of the Performing Arts at Deer Valley High School where she expanded her artistic vocabulary in dance, choreography, singing, and acting. She then began teaching and choreographing for competitive dance studios and educational schools at the age of 14 and has been doing so ever since. During her time as a NBA Performer for the Golden State Warriors, she worked with artists such as Montell Jordan and Salt and Pepa and made appearances on Good Morning America and NBA 2k to name a few. Since moving to LA, She continued her training in the Debbie Reynolds Scholarship Program and continues to study Hip Hop Foundations , Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Contemporary and African techniques. Jada has been doing Assistant choreography for Professional NBA and NFL Dance Teams, high schools and colleges including NFL Pro Bowl, Golden State Warriors, Blazers , and the University of Minnesota as well as performances with Chance the Rapper, Kanye West, Ally Brooke and more!

Acrobatics / Tumbling
Acrobatics/tumbling is centered on fundamental acrobatic technique to increase flexibility, strength, balance, coordination, endurance, timing, body awareness, self-discipline, and confidence.

Toddler Dance

We develop an enjoyment of music and movement as well as a positive self-image as primary goals. Basic ballet terms and steps are taught along with tumbling skills.

Jazz / Contemporary

We teach sharp and fluid movements to create a visually technical dance and style. It is usually done to popular music. Body isolations, stretch, turning, leaping and technical steps are taught in this class.

Beginner Ballet
Ballet is the “backbone” of all dance training. In ballet the student will learn grace, elegance, technique, discipline, flexibility, stamina, and endurance. We strongly feel that ballet is the most important dance form that a child or adult can study. We offer Ballet for all ages and abilities.

Hip Hop
Hip Hop is designed to help the dancer loosen up, gain rhythm, and have fun in an aerobic workout. Moves from MTV and other videos on TV with popular artists will be taught. This is a great way to get a good workout, have fun and gain confidence.

Kids Latin
In the Latin class you will learn how to add grace, femininity, & flare to your Latin dancing. We teach choreography that focuses on arm & leg styling, body isolation technique, footwork/shines, hand & foot placements, and much more. Kids  will also learn how to incorporate styling in  partner dancing, as you will gain confidence and improve the fluidity of body movements.

Adult Salsa
Inspired by Latin dance & music, more like a Salsa workout class that uses a variety of styles in its routines, including, merengue, salsa, pop, mambo, rumba, & flamenco. No dance experience required.
